Using this website

You may browse this website and use its enquiry form for genuine enquiries about selling gold. Please do not attempt to disrupt the site, extract its content in bulk, or submit false contact details through the form.

Enquiries are not offers

Submitting the valuation form starts a conversation; it does not create a contract and does not commit either side to a transaction. Any figure quoted before your items are physically inspected is indicative only.

Valuations

A binding valuation can only follow a physical inspection: weighing on a calibrated scale and a purity test carried out in your presence. The figure depends on net gold weight, tested purity and the gold rate applicable on the day, and it is therefore tied to the day it is given.

Valuations are free and carry no obligation. If you decline the offer, your items are returned to you immediately. The full method is set out on our cash for gold page.

Completing a transaction

• You confirm that the gold you present is lawfully yours to sell
• You must present a valid government-issued photo identity document
• Payment is made to the person named on the transaction receipt
• A receipt recording weights, tested purity, the rate applied and any deduction is issued

We may decline a transaction where identification cannot be verified or where we have reasonable grounds for concern about the items presented.

Doorstep visits

Doorstep visits are subject to availability in your area and to appointment confirmation. There is no charge for a visit and no obligation to sell. Details are on the doorstep service page.
